Spider Solitaire
Build runs from king down to ace in one suit to clear them. Clear all eight to win.
How to play
Spider is played with two decks across ten columns. The goal is to build eight complete runs, king down to ace in a single suit. Each finished run is cleared off the table automatically.
- Building: put a card on any card one higher, in any suit (a 7 on any 8). But only a run of the same suit can be moved together, so building in suit is what clears the table.
- Empty columns: any card or same-suit run can go in an empty column.
- Dealing: click the stock at the top left to deal one card onto every column. The number on it is how many deals are left. You can only deal when no column is empty.
- Moving cards: tap a card to move it and everything on it to the best place (a same-suit card if there is one), or drag it where you want. Tap again to try the next column. On a keyboard, Tab to a card and press Enter.
How many suits? With one suit, every card builds in suit and most games can be won. Two suits are a real challenge, and four suits is for experts. Undo is unlimited, so feel free to experiment.
