About lined paper
Wide ruled (11/32 inch, about 8.7 mm) suits young children and big handwriting. College ruled (9/32 inch, about 7.1 mm) is the most common in US notebooks. Narrow ruled (1/4 inch, 6.35 mm) fits more on a page.
Outside the US, 8 mm lines are common. The red margin line sits 1.25 inches (about 32 mm) from the left edge, like a notebook.

Printing tips
- Print at 100% scale (the "Default" or "Actual size" option), not "Fit to page", so the spacing comes out exactly as chosen. The page size is set for you; if your printer's dialog asks, pick the same paper.
- Most printers can't print right to the edge, so keep a margin of at least a quarter inch (about 6 mm) or the outermost lines may be cut off.
- To save a PDF instead, choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. Print as many copies as you need from there.
